How Often Should You Schedule Recurring House Cleaning?

One of the most common questions we get from new clients is simple: how often should I actually book a cleaning? There is no single right answer, but a few factors make the decision easier.

Weekly Cleaning

Weekly service tends to make sense for larger households, homes with young children or pets, or anyone who wants their home to stay at a consistently high standard with very little upkeep in between visits. It is also popular with dual-income households who would rather spend evenings and weekends on something other than chores.

Biweekly Cleaning

Biweekly, or every other week, is our most requested schedule. It strikes a balance for smaller households or homes where light daily tidying happens between visits but the deeper cleaning tasks (floors, bathrooms, kitchens) get handled by us on a predictable rhythm.

Monthly Cleaning

Monthly service works well for smaller homes, single-person or two-person households, or as a supplement to your own regular cleaning routine. It is a good option if you mainly want help with the tasks that pile up over time: baseboards, deeper kitchen and bathroom cleaning, and the spots that are easy to put off.

Signs Your Current Schedule Needs Adjusting

• The house feels noticeably dirty again a few days before your next visit (consider moving to a more frequent schedule)
• You find yourself doing a lot of cleaning between visits (same as above)
• Your visits feel like overkill and the home barely needs attention (consider spacing visits out)
• Your household size or routine has changed since you first set your schedule
